Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration, participation, and association with the underground hip-hop talent hunt and regional music reality series titled "Gully Ka Superstar — Season I" ("Competition"), produced, presented, and managed by FMD Media & Entertainment Private Limited (Brand: "FMD Music").
By ticking the "I agree to the Terms & Conditions" checkbox on the registration form, confirming your details are accurate, and consenting to be contacted by FMD Music, you enter into a legally binding agreement with FMD Music. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or participate in the Competition.

Age & Legal Competency: You represent that you are legally competent to enter into a contract. If you are under 18 years of age, your registration and participation require the mandatory consent and countersignature of your parent or legal guardian.
Accuracy of Information: You confirm that all personal details, contact information, and identification documents (such as PAN details) provided during registration are true, accurate, and up-to-date.
Availability: You commit to remaining available to participate in the Competition schedule, audition rounds, and timelines mandated by FMD Music.
Modification & Cancellation Rights: FMD Music reserves the absolute right at all times, and from time to time, to cancel, modify, alter, or reschedule any events, participants, event schedules, formats, or operational structures according to prevailing circumstances and its sole discretion.

Non-Refundable Fee: You acknowledge that any specified registration fee for the Competition is strictly non-refundable and must only be paid directly to FMD Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd's official bank account or UPI handle as designated on the official platform.
Contestant Expenses: All personal expenses associated with travel, accommodation, performance preparation, lyrics creation, and submission of audition creatives/audio-visuals shall be entirely borne by you, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by FMD Music.

Creation & Ownership: All sound recordings, music tracks, vocals, underlying lyrics, compositions, beats, audio-visual footage, interviews, and performance content created, commissioned, or substantially developed in connection with the Competition shall be solely owned and controlled by FMD Music in perpetuity worldwide.
Assignment: To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably assign to FMD Music all copyrights, performer’s rights, and derivative rights across all media platforms (including television, OTT, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, and other digital networks) now known or later developed.
Third-Party Material: You warrant that any original material or lyrics you submit do not infringe upon third-party copyrights. You agree to fully disclose and clear any third-party samples or content used in your performances.

Publicity Rights: FMD Music retains the unrestricted right to use your name, stage name, photograph, likeness, voice, biography, and performance recordings for promoting, advertising, broadcasting, and commercializing the Competition and its associated content, even after your elimination.
Social Media Promotion: You agree to actively promote official Competition clips, trailers, videos, and marketing materials across your personal social media handles as directed by FMD Music.

Grand Finalists: If you qualify for the grand final or final selection process, you agree to participate in the official Music Video/Audio Album alongside other selected artists.
Audition Expenses & Requirements: Contestants shall arrange for and bear all costs associated with their own travel, food, stay, and any other requirements for the audition process—including, but not limited to, recording, signing, or producing songs required for audition or show purposes.
Compensation & Payments: Any payments or financial terms relating to your participation will be decided solely by the Management of FMD Music and communicated to you during the audition process.

You agree to keep all non-public information regarding the Competition—including show results, plot twists, mechanics, unreleased media, and behind-the-scenes details—strictly confidential.
This duty of confidentiality remains in effect during the contest and for 48 months following the final broadcast or event conclusion. Any breach will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.

You acknowledge that participation does not guarantee that you will win a prize, reach a specific round, secure a record deal, or obtain commercial employment with FMD Music.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release FMD Music, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from the authorized recording, editing, broadcasting, and exploitation of your participation.

By submitting the registration form, you expressly consent to being contacted by FMD Music, its authorized representatives, or partners via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or other digital channels regarding updates, schedules, promotional offers, and operational notices relating to Gully Ka Superstar.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
